ISSUE: UNABLE TO COMPLETE PRINTER SETUP
Here are the reasons, why
Driver or Software Issue
Outdated or missing drivers are a common cause of setup failure, especially after system updates.
- Ensure the power cable is fully plugged in on both ends.
- Check if Printer have any unwanted light flashing.
- Is the printer screen showing any error code or warning icon?
- Install the driver or let your OS auto-install it from Device Manager.
Network or Wi-Fi Problem
Ensure the printer is connected to the correct wireless network. Avoid guest or restricted networks.
Cable Connection or Hardware Reset
Check that cables are properly connected. Restart the device and ensure no hardware errors are displayed.
Firewall or Security Blocking Printer
Disable temporary firewalls or antivirus tools that may prevent network printer detection or communication.
Queue / Spooler not clearing
Clear stuck print jobs from the queue and restart the Print Spooler service (Windows) before retrying.
